Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Luminous Eye Shadow Review

So since I haven’t done a product review in a long time, I thought I would write a review about my new favorite eye shadow, and of course, it is probably one of the more expensive eye shadows I have ever bought, but that is probably why it is the best!

The name of the eye shadow is Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Luminous Eye Shadow,

Other than the fact that this eye shadow is Chanel, it is absolutely stunning. I have three different colors in this eye shadow because I love them so much. I have #85, which is called “mirifique” which is black, #89 is called “Vision” and is a very brilliant gold, and the last one I have is #97, which is called New Moon, which is brown.

All of the colors that I have are PACKED with glitter. They are mousse eye shadows, so application is smooth and it is long lasting! (And if anyone knows me, they know I don’t usually take my makeup off at night, and this shadow keeps its color for two days.)

The color is VERY rich. I have the black (#85) and a little bit goes a LOOOOOOONG way! So beware.

The packaging includes a brush, and it is the perfect brush for this eye shadow. The brush picks up the color well and also can distribute it evenly along the eyelid.

The little glass jar holds .14 oz, but remember, this eye shadow goes a long way. I have had my eye shadow for over 3 months, and I have just scratched the surface.

Because you are paying for the Chanel name, this eye shadow is going to be expensive. You can find this eye shadow in Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com, and they will run you $36.00. There are about 15 colors to choose from.

I know they are expensive, but I know once you try this eye shadow, you will be hooked and never go back.

I also have the same product by Dior, however, the color is not as saturated as the Chanel brand, however, it still has the same shimmer. So if you are looking for a lighter color, I would recommend going with the Dior shades, they will not be as harsh.

Have fun with your new makeup!
